Dear Readers,
Well, here we are in downtown Indianapolis, at the State Fairgrounds, on the Friday before Memorial Day, and yes- the Indy 500 weekend. Yes, the town is revved up!. Turns out that the folks who don’t have $150 for tickets to the 500, come to the Fairgrounds and drive around in circles at great speed on this weekend. Once again, we are camped in another idyllic setting with abundant nature (grass) and lots of revving, and gas fumes. But we are 5 minutes from our friend Ron’s house, and Lee is having a great time catching up. I just posted some pix from Louisville, so get yourselves to :
http://bobbiandleerv.blogspot.com/ for an update. Have a safe Memorial Day. The tornado siren went off last night when we were at Ron’s house- that was a first for us. The sky was unbelievable, but we escaped a tornado, just a heavy thunderstorm. Phew!
