North Platte Valley Museum- The Rotary has put this exhibit together for the museum. Here is an Iron Lung. Kids who got polio, really bad cases, ended up here in an iron lung before there was vaccine. Turns out the lady running the museum was a nurse and we had a discussion about the fact that today's Moms have never seen any of these iron lungs.
