Leaving Promontory Point, Utah June 23, 2006

As we left Promontory Point, we passed acres and acres of Thiokol plants where they produce space Shuttle propellant. I'm not sure what they dig up here, probably trona????, but it is kinda odd- doubt if the guys hitting the Golden Spike ever thought there would be folks down the road making Shuttle proellant.
