Here are the guys that did all of the hardest work. Oxen were preferred over donkeys cause they would eat anything and when they died on the trail- you could eat them!

We are from Lutherville, MD, a suburb of Baltimore, and we have both lived there all of our lives. In 2006 we took off in our RV for 2 years on the road. Those adventures can be found in BobbiandLeeRV. We landed in Palm Creek, sold our RV and spend our winters here.
