Spalding Presbyterian Church. Tucked in a little valley near the Nez Perce reservation, Mr. and Mrs. Spalding were dedicated to their Indians and helping them find 'the book to heaven'. Mrs. Spalding was one of the first 2 women to come over the Oregon Trail. But, the missionaries were also responsible for the Indian culture disappearing.
