Here's Lee showing off the famous 'nuts and berries' diet (butter pecan and strawberry). Lee had a toonie ( A Canadian $1 is called a loonie, since there is a loon on the face, thus the $2 is called a toonie)burning a hole in his pocket, since we would cross over to US later that day. The campground had its own ice cream stand, and the guy saw Lee, the ice cream afficionado, coming. He also told us that they would not let any fruit (we'd already lost all our apples) back into the US. He also said they'd let in hard boiled eggs, but not raw eggs. Judy and Bobbi prepared a gourmet meal of icecream, about 8 oranges and a lot of grapes at our customary 'crack of eleven' early start. We gave up on the eggs, but they never even asked!!!
