Tubac Presidio, Feb 15, 2007

These are Conquistadoro's accoutrements, found near the Tubac Presidio. Tubac was founded by the Spanish in 1650's as a presidio or fort. At one time it would be one of the largest cities in AZ. today it is 3 blocks of wonderful arts and crafts stores in old abobe buildings. The Presidio is long gone, but the archeologists have been excavating.
