This is what the sky looks like in the Spring in Kansas. We know that there are big tormado bands in Wichita, about an hour east of us, and we are driving in that direction about 60mph. The black area in the middle is a farmer burning off the leftovers in his field. But can't you just see a big black funnel heading toward you???
This is not far from Greensburg, Kansas, which was 95% wiped off the map about a week later.
