The adventure continues! here we are heading into the sunset/West, in our new 2002 Honda CRV whidh we are driving to the 200 square foot "ranch" in Casa Grande. you are seeing the front of the car, because, once again, the back is level with the windows, with every nook and cranny stuffed with "stuff. " We will never run out of a book to read, or a craft project.

Well, oops, Melvin bears repeating! isn't he a cutie?? Melvin is Brad's Shiz Tsu(spelling??) with a puppy cut. Originally, he was Brad's roomies' girl friend's, but when they broke up, he stayed at Brad's!! He wasn't too sure about Charley, Andy's Yorkie, and Madi's dance recital, but he was a trooper.

Only in corning, NY would there be a Pyrex Street! By the way, pyrex was an accident, something got left in a kiln overnight, and Pyrex was there in the morning!

Corning Glass Museum, Corning NY 8-26-07

A Tiffany stained glass window from the Museum. We were there for 2 days and didn't see it all. There is a section of glass art, a section on glass objects through history and how made, and a science museum, hands on for kids on what we use glass for from pyrex to fiber optics. You should go!

Bobbi met Pooky half way between Baltimore and Ontario in Corning , NY, except it was about 3 hour further west!!! Here we are deep in the optical illusion section of the museum, capturing 2 'old' friends.

Our girl loves the beach!

Evan and Madi loved the ocean. Tom is not in the pix, because he is diving totally fearlessly into a wave down shore. Twenty minutes after Andy, Penny and Penny's brother Frank, hit the beach, the call came from Penny's Mom on the way to the hospital with chest pains. An hour or so later they were on the road back to Baltimore, and we got to be working grandparents! Uncle Brad was fabulous- in the water with the little guys most of the day. But, the kids had been with their Dad the week before and were missing their Mom by Saturday.
Penny's Mom had a rough week, a bypass and is doing well now. Andy and Penny left Balto. at noon on Sat, arrived at 5pm, loaded the kids and the car, left at 7pm and were home by midnight. A lovely vacation for them- about 3-4 hours, 20 minutes beach time.- Next Year!
