Bobbi and Lee's Excellent RV Adventure, 2006
Here is the back of the Ryman Auditorium. Originally a church built in 1892, the seats here are still church pews, arranged in a circle. The Grand Ole Opry was home here 1943-1974. the Grand Ole Opry has moved to new digs.

We are from Lutherville, MD, a suburb of Baltimore, and we have both lived there all of our lives. In 2006 we took off in our RV for 2 years on the road. Those adventures can be found in BobbiandLeeRV. We landed in Palm Creek, sold our RV and spend our winters here.

I recall the Grande Ole Opry at the Ryman as a smoky, noisy place. The music was great but it sure did not feel like a church.
