The emigrants to Oregon or California crossed the dangerous Snake River here by ferry, or 1/4 mile down the river at Three Mile Islands. That diagonal path -highest- is how the Emigrants traveled down to the river

We are from Lutherville, MD, a suburb of Baltimore, and we have both lived there all of our lives. In 2006 we took off in our RV for 2 years on the road. Those adventures can be found in BobbiandLeeRV. We landed in Palm Creek, sold our RV and spend our winters here.
