The ferry-probably a reconstruction. This one had a large pile of metal cable, but I suspect the original one used heavy rope.

We are from Lutherville, MD, a suburb of Baltimore, and we have both lived there all of our lives. In 2006 we took off in our RV for 2 years on the road. Those adventures can be found in BobbiandLeeRV. We landed in Palm Creek, sold our RV and spend our winters here.
