Real cowboys! Jordan Valley, Oregon, Sept 21, 2006

We had to stop the RV for these real cowboys to hustle the cattle across the road. Check out the dogs as well. When they were all across, they took off their hats and waved to us. Now just in case you thought they meandered across the plains, settled down for lunch at the campfire with a can of beans, you'd be wrong. We met them again down the road at the famous Basque restaurant. They had their horses in the horse trailers, and ordered salads for lunch. Of course, they also had a few stiff drinks with that- it was nippy outside. Didn't see the cows again!
